• Reviews

"Since china cymbals are too intrusive for me, I looked for alternatives and came across the "Dark Trash" effect cymbal from Istanbul. The cymbal has a dark sound character, responds quickly and fades away very quickly. If you play it through on the quarter notes, you get a wonderful sluggish groove. In terms of sound, it is a mixture of crash and china without being intrusive." - Trent Reznor

"Non-invasive, decidedly light, sensitive and dry. Unlike many "trash" cymbals, this cymbal is quite versatile, also due to its non aggressive or harsh sound, I use it both as a trash crash and as a trash ride. " - Spetta Coli
